The event landing page is the first stop for your attendees to learn more about you and your event. Customize it even further by adding video and audio to the 'About' tab of your landing page. .

Adding Videos:

YouTube

  • On the 'Event Website' tab, click the 'About' tab of your event site.

  • Click on the empty space under the 'About' tab and click on the plus sign (+) icon to the left.

  • Click the video icon and paste the YouTube URL in the pop up windows blank field. Then click 'OK.'

  • The YouTube video will be on the 'About' tab, ready for your attendees to view.

Vimeo

If you have uploaded your video file to Vimeo, they can be added to the 'About' tab as well!

Important: Before you add your Vimeo URL, please ensure that your video settings are set to "Anyone" Under 'Who can watch?' Otherwise, attendees will be required to create an account and/or log in to Vimeo before they can watch the video.

  • Once the settings are set in Vimeo, navigate to the Event Website tab in the Admin Console. Click the 'About' tab on the Event site.

  • Click on the emoty space under the 'About' tab and click on the plus sign (+) icon to the left.

  • Click the video icon and paste the Vimeo URL in the pop up windows blank field. Then click 'OK.'

  • Your Vimeo video will be on your 'About' tab, ready for your attendees to watch.

Using HTML (Code View)

You may also add a video player using the Code View on the 'About' tab.

  • On the Event Website tab in the Admin Console, click the 'About' tab on the event site and highlight a random selection on the page to see the Code View icon.

  • Click the Code View icon and add your video player's HTML code and click the Code Icon at the upper right once done.

  • Your video player will be available on the 'About' tab and ready for your attendees to watch.

Note: You may have multiple videos on the 'About' tab. However, depending on your attendee's internet connection, multiple videos may take time to load.

Adding Audio Players

Using HTML (Code View)

Audio players may be added using the Code View on the 'About' tab.

  • On the Event Website tab in the Admin Console, click the 'About' tab on the event site and highlight a random selection on the page to see the Code View icon.

  • Click the Code View icon and add your video player's HTML code and click the Code icon at the upper right once done.

  • Your audio player will be added on your About page.

Using a Widget

A widget can be embedded to your event site. There are several widgets available online. In this example, I am going to use ElfSight.

Important: Check the widget's website for instruction on how to create one (i.e audio player widget). Once you've created your widget, you need to follow that site's instruction on how to get an installation or embed code.

  • On the Event Website tab in the Admin Console, click the 'About' tab on the event site and highlight a random selection on the page to see the Code View icon.

  • Click the Code View icon and add your video player's HTML code and click the Code icon at the upper right once done.

  • Your widget will be added to the 'About' tab.

Google Drive

You may upload your videos on Google Drive and share it to your About tab. It's similar to adding videos using the Code view -- you just need to ensure that the settings of the file you would share (from Google Drive) is as follows:

  • The file is shared with anyone who has the link.

  • People may view the file.

  • Once the audio file has been shared and the settings are set, extract the MP3 ID from the generated shared link. It's not complicated to do this. All you have to do is to get the values after "d" and before "view".

    Here's an example:

If the shareable link is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18ABcdEfG123-oPwX12345YZ07698/view?usp=sharing, then the MP3 ID would be: 18ABcdEfG123-oPwX12345YZ07698

  • Once you have set this up, go the Event Website tab of the Admin console, click the About tab of your event site and highlight anywhere on the page to see the Code View icon.

  • Click the Code View icon and add your audio player's HTML code and click the Code icon at the upper right once done.

  • Your audio player will be added on your About page, ready for your attendees to play. Please note you may add either a simple Audio file command or an iFrame for your audio file -- both would work.

Note: Just like video players, you may have multiple audio players on your About page.
