LinkedIn pixel tracking can be a helpful tool for understanding the different stages of the ticket-buying process for your event. Once you know the various stages of the buying process, you can learn where you may be losing potential ticket sales and why those ticket buyers are not completing the purchase process.

Actions on your event page that you can track using the LinkedIn pixel include:

  • Add to cart

  • page view

  • checkout - added billing info

  • payment - added purchase key

Implementing LinkedIn tracking is a relatively straightforward process. Follow the steps below to track your event!

Notes:

  • Ensure your payment or credit card information is updated on LinkedIn to run your campaign.

  • If you're using widgets (Settings > Widget Options), you will be unable to incorporate the LinkedIn Insight Tag within the widget or track the ticket purchase event for action tracking.
