Add a Chatbot Widget Through Embed Code

Aside from using the chat feature and posting information at the Info Desk and Lobby, you can add your own live chat widget in the virtual event hub making it easier for your attendees to reach you!

You can also install one on your landing page so you can take questions even before the event opens.

How Does It Work?

In most chatbot provider platforms, you will design how your chatbot would look like and how it would function, such as using AI or if the users will interact with a live person. When you're done setting up your bot, an embed code will be provided to you and you'll add that to Accelevents, then your chatbot will show in your Accelevents page.

In this example, we created a chatbot in Tidio and we will embed this to Accelevents.

  • Click Install Chat Widget in Tidio

  • Design your chatbot, you can change the color and language

  • When you're done, copy the embed code.

  • In Accelevents, go to Settings > Integrations

  • Click Add Custom Script for the Event Hub

  • Paste the script in the body, and click Save

That's it! Check your virtual event hub to see if the chatbot is installed.

Having a live chat widget on your Event Landing Page and Virtual Event Hub allows you to provide a fast, convenient, and effective means of communication with your attendees.
