Passkey and Accelevents Integration
Through integrating Cvent Passkey with Accelevents, in-person event registrants can seamlessly book hotel accommodations right after completing their event registration. Their hotel reservation details will be automatically included in their Accelevents order.
1. The attendee registers on Accelevents
Access the event landing page, click the Register Now button, and follow the next prompts to purchase a ticket for the event.
2. The attendee is redirected to Passkey to select a room
At the end of registration, attendees can click the "Book Your Hotel" button on the confirmation page, which will redirect them to Passkey, where they can select a hotel room.
3. The passkey form is pre-populated with their registration info and attendee tier
4. The booking information is passed back to Accelevents
After confirming the hotel reservation, the order in Accelevents will be updated with the hotel confirmation data.
Share the Passkey Event Code with Accelevents
To integrate Accelevents and Passkey, you'll need to connect using our API. In Passkey's settings, you must add an event connection code and provide the code / link to Accelevents found in Details > API Access > Event Codes.
Our system can make a connection call using this code to fully enable the integration with Passkey, which will also fully return the Event ID. The Event ID can be used to retrieve attendee or event information.
