Connect Authorize.net as Your Payment Processor

Authorize.net helps makes it simple to accept electronic and credit card payments in person, online or over the phone. You can easily and quickly set up your Authorize.net account with Accelevents.

Important Notes:

  • For White Label and Enterprise Plans you can connect Authorize.net through the Dashboard.

  • Please alert our support team once you've connected your account so that we can enable it for your events. We are improving this behavior, stay tuned for updates!

  • Partial refunds cannot be done the same day the payment is processed.

Connect Authorize.net Through the Admin Console

  • Go to Settings > Payment Processing

  • Click Other Gateways

  • Select Authorize.net

  • Click Connect

  • Enter the API Login Key and and Transaction Key

  • Click Connect

  • Once connected, it will change the button to "Disconnect"

Event Billing ID and Metadata fields

The Event Billing ID and Metadata fields as seen above will appear after connecting the payment processor. If you have billing codes within your organization, you can add them to that field, and they will appear in the transaction within your payment processor.

These will also appear as columns in the All Transactions Report that you can download from the Enterprise / White Label Dashboard.

Connect Authorize.net in Your Enterprise or White Label Dashboard

If you have an Enterprise or White Label plan, you can connect your Authorize.net account through your Enterprise or White Label Dashboard so that all events under your account will be connected to your payment processor.

  1. Log in to your Enterprise or White Label Dashboard. Your login page would look something like this URL:

    https://www.accelevents.com/u/wl-login/yourcompanyname

  2. Go to the Enterprise Settings tab and access Payment Processing.

  3. Scroll down to Connect Gateways and look for Other Gateways. Click Connect.

  4. Select Authorize.net, enter the information below, and click Connect.

    • API Login ID

    • Transaction Key

How to Get Authorize.net Keys

  • Login to your Authorize.net account

  • Go to Account

  • Select API Credentials & Keys

  • Copy the API Login ID

  • Select New Transaction Key and click Submit to generate the key
