Add a CC Email field in the Order Form

Add a CC Email field in the order form to indicate the assistant's email address that will be included in all communications with the buyer

Written by Ariane Ramirez

When purchasing tickets, sometimes someone else will need to handle the communications regarding the registration, like the CEO's assistant or the department's secretary. To ensure that they are included in all the emails, you can add a CC Email field in the order form where they can indicate the assistant's email address.

Add a CC Email field in the Order Form

  • Go to Registration > Order Form

  • Enable CC Email in the Ticket Buyer Fields

When enabled, this field will appear Step 2 of the registration process.

After registering, the cc email holder will also receive the order confirmation email sent to the buyer as a cc recipient.

The cc email owner will also be cc'd for other emails received by the buyer. If there are magic links in the email and the cc email owner clicks them, they will be logged in as the buyer.

The cc email address will also receive notifications for the following registration updates:

  • Approval request ticket status changes to Pending, Waitlist, or Rejected

  • Ticket exchanges, refunds, and cancellations

  • Waitlist ticket releases, provided the CC email address was added to the buyer before the ticket was released

Notes: The CC Email field can be included when importing attendees via CSV and in the Join Waitlist popup on your landing page.
