When setting up your event, you may want to provide a free raffle ticket to participants. This increases excitement and overall participation in your raffle and will often inspire participants to purchase more tickets. 

Many hosts will use this feature as a way to include a raffle entry with an Event Ticket or to provide Sponsors or VIPs with an extra reward for their donation.

To give them free raffle tickets, you will need to add a complimentary raffle ticket code, give that code to your participants, and they will need to text that code to your event phone number to claim the free raffle tickets.

Note: This can only be redeemed by text message, not through the event landing page.

To set this up, begin by going to the Raffle > Settings page in your Admin Console. 

From there, enter a code you would like to share with participants in the Complimentary Ticket Code field. We suggest keeping it simple! The code must be at least 4 characters.

It's easy! Participants will text that code to the Event Phone Number (found on the Raffle tab of your Event Landing Page). In return, they will receive a confirmation that a complimentary ticket has been added to their account. Each person who texts in the code will only be rewarded one complimentary raffle ticket. This can only be redeemed by text message, not through the website.
