Connect Stripe to Accelevents

One of our strongest recommendations to clients using our fundraising capabilities is to enable credit card processing. Credit card processing allows your guests to pay for donations, tickets, and bids directly from their mobile device or computer. This leads to increased ease for your guest, higher proceeds, and more efficient checkout.

To use credit card processing, you can quickly and easily set up a Stripe account through your Accelevents Admin Console. Funds will then go directly to your Stripe account and be transferred to a bank account of your choice within 48 hours.ย

Connect Stripe Through The Admin Console

  • Go to Settings > Payment Processing from your admin console

  • Click Connect with Stripe to connect your payment processing.

  • A pop-up window will open, asking you to log in to your Stripe account.

  • Your Stripe account status will now show as "Connected" in your Accelevents console.

Note: You can only use a live Stripe account with Accelevents. A sandbox or test mode account will not work.

Connect Stripe Through The Enterprise or Whitelabel Dashboard

If you have an Enterprise or Whitelabel account, you can also connect your Stripe account from your dashboard so that it will be connected across all your events.

  • Log in to your Enterprise or White Label Dashboard. Your login page would look something like this URL:

    https://www.accelevents.com/u/wl-login/yourcompanyname

  • Go to the Enterprise Settings tab and access Payment Processing.

  • Scroll down to Connect Gateways and look for Stripe. Click Connect or Get Started.

  • Enter your PayFlow credentials and click Confirm.

  • That's it! Once you're done, you should see that your Stripe account is connected to your event. You can now sell tickets!

Event Billing ID and Metadata fields

The Event Billing ID and Metadata fields as seen above will appear after connecting the payment processor. If you have billing codes within your organization, you can add them to that field, and they will appear in the transaction within Stripe.

These will also appear as columns in the All Transactions Report that you can download from the Enterprise / White Label Dashboard.
