Payflow Pro

Accept payment for event tickets and event registration using Payflow Pro from PayPal. Payflow is a payment gateway, not a processor. To use Payflow, you must have Payflow connected to a processor. Unless your organization already has a Payflow account, we suggest using Stripe or Square for payment processing.

Connecting a credit card processor allows your participants to pay for tickets, registration, and add-ons with a credit or debit card.

Notes:

  • This feature is only available for White Label Plans and can only be used to sell event tickets and add-ons.

  • This will not work with Fundraising-related payments.

  • Payflow does not refund their fees. If you need to reimburse the attendee for the fees, it needs to be performed in Payflow directly and will be pulled from your funds.

Connecting Payflow to Accelevents

  1. Log in to your Enterprise or White Label Dashboard. Your login page would look something like this URL:

    https://www.accelevents.com/u/wl-login/yourcompanyname

  2. Go to the Enterprise Settings tab and access Payment Processing.

  3. Scroll down to Connect Gateways and look for PayFlow. Click Connect or Get Started.

  4. Enter your PayFlow credentials and click Confirm.

  5. Login to your PayPal manager dashboard

    • Go to Service Settings

    • Click Hosted checkout Pages

    • Click Setup

    • Look for Silent Post for Data Transfer and enter this URL:

      https://api.accelevents.com/rest/webHook/payflow

  6. Include the Billing Information on the form

    • Go to Service Settings > Setup in your PayFlow account

    • Under Billing Information, select the fields you need to appear during checkout (e.g., cardholder's name, billing address, etc.)

Note: Ensure the fields are editable so registrants can fill out the fields during checkout.

  7. That's it! Once you're done, you should see that your PayFlow account is connected to your event. You can now sell tickets!

Note: The Event Billing ID field appears after connecting the payment processor. If you have billing codes within your organization, you can add them to that field, and they will appear in the transaction within Payflow.
