Scan the Attendee's QR Code or RFID Badge to get their Information
One of the main reasons exhibitors join events is to connect with potential leads or customers and expand their professional and social networks. Exhibitors can easily collect information in an in-person event by scanning the attendees' QR codes or scanning the RFID programmed badge through the Accelevents Attendee App. The attendees' information will show on the screen, wherein additional notes can be added and save as leads. There is no need to bring out a paper and pen sign-up sheet!
Notes:
You must be an exhibitor admin or a lead retriever to use this feature.
Attendees who are not yet checked in can be added as a lead through scanning or manually adding them.
An attendee can only be added once per booth.
Adding leads to a booth through the attendee app does not check in the attendees to the event.
When the exhibitor feature is enabled for the event, as an event admin when you scan attendees, whether it be through Add Lead By QR code or through My QR in the lobby, the page that you will see is the page that allows you to add the lead (not the page to connect).

How Does it Work?
The exhibitor will log in to the attendee app and open "My QR" or "Add Leads By QR Code" to start scanning the attendee's QR code or RFID badge. Then, the attendee's information will appear on the screen after it recognizes the QR or badge. The exhibitor can then add notes and other information about the attendee and save it. The saved information will be added to the leads list and can be downloaded later.
Find the QR code in the app
After logging in to the attendee app, attendees will be on the My Events page, where they can see a list of all the events to which they have tickets. They need to click the Ticket icon of the event, and it will then show their QR code along with their ticket details. Attendees must present the QR code to exhibitors.
Note: Attendees can also find the QR code through their profile once inside the event in the attendee app, in the PDF attachment in the order confirmation email, and the My Tickets tab when logged in to the account.
Option 1: Scan the QR Code Through the App
Exhibitors must log in to the attendee app to scan the attendee QR code and save them as a lead.
Log in to the app
Enter the event
Click the profile icon in the upper right corner
Select the My Booth tab
Click Add Lead By QR Code. This will open the mobile camera
Scan the attendee's QR code using the mobile camera
After scanning, the attendee's name, email, and phone number are populated.
Enter the other information given by the lead in the note field.
Click Save.
Option 2: Scan the RFID Badge Through the App
If the event is using RFID badges, the badge can be tapped to the top of an iPhone to get the attendees' information.
Log in to the app
Enter the event
Click the profile icon in the upper right corner
Select the My Booth tab
Click Add Lead By QR Code. This will open the mobile camera
Select RFID Scan
Place the attendee's badge at the top part of the phone for a couple of seconds (just like how you would do it with ApplyPay)
After scanning, the attendee's name, email, and phone number are populated.
Enter the other information given by the lead in the note field.
Click Save.
Option 2: Add Leads Manually Through the App
If the attendee does not provide their QR code, exhibitors can manually enter the information. From the My Booth tab, select Add Lead Manually.
Note: A lead cannot be added multiple times to a booth, so when you scan an existing lead, you'll see "Edit Lead" on top of the page, and when you save, you will see "Lead updated for the event."
View the Leads List and Download
Click the Leads List from the My Booth tab to see if the leads are saved. From here you can the edit the lead information. You can download the leads list on your phone or computer during the event.
