About Tab: Add An Event Description

From your Event Website tab, you can add an event description that will appear in the event page's About tab

Describe Your Event

Adding a clear and compelling event description helps attendees quickly understand what your event is about and why they should join. This section is your opportunity to highlight key details—such as the purpose, agenda, speakers, and unique value of your event—so you can capture interest and drive registrations. A well-written description sets expectations and creates excitement from the start.

To add a description to your basic event landing page, simply follow these steps:

  • Go to the Event Design tab

  • Select Event Website

  • In the Basic Website, scroll to the description area in the page preview

  • Add your content directly in the preview's description area

The content editor lets you style the text, add images and links, and embed videos in the description box to entice your audience to sign up.
