Remind Attendees of Their Upcoming Meetings
By the default, attendees will get meeting reminders when it's about to start. They will get an email 30 minutes before and a push notification 5 minutes before the meeting.
Meeting Reminder Email
If this is enabled, attendees will receive an automatic reminder email 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
Go to Meetings > All Meetings
Select the Configuration tab
Enable the toggle to Automatically send a meeting reminder email
Attendees can click the Join Meeting button from the email to be redirect to the meeting. If they are on a laptop, they will be redirected to the virtual event hub. If they have the attendee app downloaded, they will be redirect to the event in the app.
Note: This email cannot be customize or scheduled to a different time.
Meeting Reminder Push Notification
Go to Meetings > All Meetings
Select Configuration tab
Set the time as to when attendees will receive the push notification
Edit the message that will appear in the push notification. There are 3 merge tags available that will show the participant's name, meeting time, and location.
The reminder notification will be sent to both attendees of the meeting.
The reminder notification appears on mobile when logged in to the attendee app and the virtual event hub accessed through a browser.
This reminder notification cannot be turned off, even if the toggle to "allow attendees to schedule meetings with each other" is turned off.
This will be sent to all ticket types.
The icon that appears in the attendee app is the Accelevents icon and it cannot be changed.
The icon that appears through a browser is the attendee's profile picture or initials and it cannot be changed.
There is no character limit; however, please limit it to a few lines so it won't appear too congested.
