The profile photo is more than just an image—it’s how other attendees recognize other attendees, connect, and remember each other during an event. As an event admin, you can upload attendee profile photos before the event. Having a clear, up-to-date photo helps create a more personal and engaging experience for everyone. It makes networking easier, speeds up introductions in chats and meetings, and adds a sense of trust and professionalism across the event.

Upload a Profile Image for an Existing Attendee

If you have the image file and they have an existing registration, you can upload the image file to Attendees > Attendee Management.

When you open the attendee details, you can click on the upper left icon with their initials to upload their profile picture. The image will appear in their profile when they log in to the virtual event or the attendee app.

Include the Profile Image URL in the Attendee Upload CSV

If you're uploading attendees in Attendees > Add Attendees, you can include the Profile Image URL in the CSV upload. You’ll need a direct image URL that ends in a file type like .jpg, or .png just like in the example below.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Google Drive Links will not work. Google Drive links don’t work as direct image URLs because they’re not actual file paths — they’re view links that require authentication or page loading.

  • The image dimensions should be 200 x 200 pixels in JPEG format. If the image is rectangular, it will appear stretched when uploaded. Make sure to make it a square before you upload.

In your CSV, make the header "Profile Image URL" so that it will automatically map to that field. When the attendee is uploaded, the image will appear as their profile picture in the virtual event hub and attendee app.
