The Speaker Hub is a page that speakers can access after they are added to a session, wherein they will see their sessions, upload handout files that attendees can download and view tasks assigned by admins. They can also edit some of the session's basic information if admins give them permission.
If they have virtual sessions, they can join the Studio or the workshop in advance to practice and learn how to use the settings from here. When the virtual session is live, they can directly join the session also through the speaker hub.
As admins, you can also go to the speaker portal and view what your speakers can see.
Access the Speaker Hub
For Admins
This feature is coming soon, stay tuned for updates!
As an admin, you can go to Event Content > Speakers and click Copy Speaker Hub Link. When you access the link, you'll see a dropdown that let's you pick which speaker you want to view.
For Speakers
After being added to the session, they should receive the speaker invite email where there is a link that redirects to the speaker hub. When they click the first link it will open a new tab that logs them in to the hub.
Speaking Schedule
Edit the Session and Upload Files
In the Speaking Schedule tab, their sessions will be listed chronologically. If the speaker has permissions to edit sessions, they will see an Edit Session button. If not, the button will be replaced with an + Add Documents button.
The items that they can edit in the session are the session title, short description and full details.
For the files, they can upload these formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx, docxx, .ppt, .pptx, .png, .jpg
Join Sessions to Practice or Start
There should be another button on the session that let's the speaker enter the Accelevents Studio, Workshop or Zoom.
Notes:
Speakers won't be able to explore the other tabs in the virtual event hub if the event is not open yet.
There is no speaker hub in the attendee app; speakers cannot upload session handouts or access the studio from the attendee app.
My Tasks
While in the Speaking Schedule tab, they will see a task banner on the session if they have an assigned task. When they click View Tasks, it will bring them to the My Task tab where they can review the details and complete them.
