Auto-Populate Virtual Event Profile Fields
In addition to the attendee's name and email appearing in the virtual event hub profile automatically, you can add these fields to your order form so that they will auto-populate in the attendee's profile when they access the virtual event hub. This will also work if you upload the attendees.

Important Note: This will only work if the registrant has never entered the virtual event hub (even for other events). If the attendee has entered the virtual event hub, it will not override their previous profile.
Follow the steps below to ensure that the information carries over to the attendee profile when they register.
Enable and Require the Order Form Profile Fields
Go to Registration > Order Form
Enable Collect both Ticket Buyer and Ticket Holder Information
For the Ticket Holder tab, enable the Active toggle for these fields:

Test as an Attendee
Sign up for your event as an attendee.
Use an email address that has never registered for any event in Accelevents.
Enter the virtual event hub to check your profile. (If this is a future event, add that attendee as an admin so that you can access the virtual event hub for testing purposes)
The profile fields should show the information you provided during registration.
Upload Attendees With Profile Fields
If you're uploading registrations and want these fields to auto-populate, you'll need to edit the CSV template to have these EXACT LABELS for each column. Note that these are case-sensitive, and extra spaces will cause upload errors.

Note: An image URL can be added to the Profile_Image_URL column and this will only work if it's placed in the 5th column. When the attendee is uploaded, the image will appear as their profile picture in the virtual event hub and attendee app. The image dimensions should be 200 x 200 pixels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the information also automatically populate if I add attendees manually through the admin console?
Yes, as long as you set the ticket holder fields as required and input the information in the ticket holder fields.
Will the fields update if the attendee has entered the virtual event hub?
No, we cannot override their profile once they enter the virtual event hub.
Will the fields update if I edit the information through the 3 dot menu after uploading?
It will update in the admin console and virtual event hub if the attendee has not entered the event yet. However, if they have already entered, it will only update in the admin console.
If I upload the attendee again or they register again, which information will show in the virtual event hub?
The original information from the first upload or registration will show in the virtual event hub.
Are there other fields that can auto-populate in the profile?
No, for now, it's just the fields mentioned above.
