If your attendees have already provided you with their personal information, you can display it on their profiles when they enter the virtual event hub.

Aside from their name and email appearing in the profile automatically, we have also included the following fields to show the information attendees provided you:

  • Company

  • Title

  • Pronouns

  • About Me

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Twitter

  • LinkedIn

Follow the steps below to ensure that the information carries over the attendee profile when you upload them:

1. Enable and Require the Order Form Fields

  • Go to Registration > Order Form

  • Enable Collect both Ticket Buyer and Ticket Holder Information

  • For the Ticket Holder tab, enable the Include and Require toggles for these fields:

    • Organization

    • Job Title

    • Pronouns

    • About Me

    • Facebook

    • Instagram

    • Twitter

    • LinkedIn

2. Edit the CSV Template with Correct Headers

The CSV template has only the essential fields (Transaction ID, First Name, Last Name, and Email). You need to edit your template to have these EXACT LABELS for each column:

  • Transaction ID

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Job Title

  • Organization

  • About Me

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Twitter

  • LinkedIn

Note that these are case-sensitive and extra spaces will cause errors when uploading.

3. Upload the CSV File

Note: Using the import option will incur a $1 per attendee upload charge

  • Go to the Attendees tab

  • Click Add Attendees

  • Click Import Buyers / Holders

  • Select the ticket type for these attendees

  • Select your CSV file

  • Click Upload Valid Items

  • Once uploaded, the attendees should appear in the Order tab

How to Check if the Information Uploaded and Carried Over to the Attendee Profile

In the Admin Console

  • Go to the Orders tab

  • Click the 3 dot menu on the order

  • Select Edit. You should see all the fields and the data added.

In the Virtual Event Hub

Since you cannot check other attendees' profiles, you can test this by also uploading yourself as an attendee. Make sure to use an email address that has never entered your event yet. Once uploaded, log in to the virtual event hub to check your profile. The profile fields should show the information you provided in the CSV.

Important Note: If the attendee has already entered the virtual event hub before uploading through CSV, it can no longer override the profile in the virtual event hub.
