An Easier Way To Join The Event
Accelevents has made it easier for you to join the event without creating or entering a password! All you need to do is click a button or a link from your email!
After registering for the event, you should receive an order confirmation email. Just click the Join Event button from that email when the event opens! And that's it! You'll be redirected to the virtual event without entering your email address or password.
Note: If you have the attendee app on your phone, the join button will redirect you to the app without needing to enter a password.
The "Magic" Only Works Once
The "magic" of joining without a password through the Join Event button will only work once, so if you click it again, it will ask you to enter your email address if you're not logged in. Then, on the next prompt, you can send a magic link to yourself. When you click the link from your inbox, it will log you in and redirect you to the landing page. From the landing page, you can click the Enter Event button to join the event.
Can I enter the event without a password through the event landing page?
To enter the event from the event landing page, you must first be signed in or logged in in order to see the Enter Event button. The Sign In and Login process will include entering a password if you already have one, and if you don't have one, you'll be asked to create one by clicking the "Forgot Password?" link.
To avoid creating a password, it's best to click the Join Event button from your email. You can always ask the event admin or our support team to resend the email to you if it's not "magic" anymore.
How can I request to resend my order confirmation email or the magic link?
Just click the Contact button on top of the event landing page and send a message to the event admins. You can also request it from Accelevents support by clicking the chat bubble at the lower right corner of this page.
What happens if I click the Join Event button when the event is not yet open?
It will give you an error message that the event is not live yet, then if you close the message, you will be redirected to the event landing page. At this time, you can go to the Agenda and bookmark sessions.
What if I already have a password?
If you have previously created a password, you can still use that password to log in through the Enter Event button or Login button from the event landing page. Click here to reset your password if you've forgotten it.
