Filtered Attendee Lists

The Smart Views feature allows you to create dynamic filtered views of your Attendee Analytics data. These smart views can also be saved as dynamic contact lists for your Engage Emails and Push Notifications.

Create Smart Views and Lists

Go to Attendees > Attendee Analytics. Use the filters to view attendees by ticket type, registration status or custom filters. Once a filter is applied, a "Save view" button appears, which lets you create a private or shared smart view.

Check the box to Save this view as a Smart List if you want to use this as a recipient list when sending Engage emails and Push Notifications.

When you save or create a Smart View, you can make it visible to only you or all team members. The new Smart View you created will be added as a new tab on your Attendee Analytics page.

Add Smart Views of Team Members

If other team members created shareable smart views, you can click + Add View and select it from the options.

You cannot make any changes to smart views created by other team members, you can only duplicate them.

Add Smart Views Without Filters

If you want to create a view from scratch without any filters, click + Add View and click Create new view.

Update Smart Views

If you update the filters on the smart view you've created, you can click Save to update it.

When other team members refresh, they will see your updated smart view.

Hide Smart Views

Hover on the view name and click "X"

This hides the tab from your display and does not delete or hide it for other users.

Add More Columns

Click Edit Columns and select which order form fields you want to show in the report. You can also rearrange the order of the fields.

Export

Click the Export button to download the list through a CSV file. This will include the columns displayed.

Share the List

You can click the Share option in the 3 dot menu to share a link to anyone to view the list. You can add a password to ensure the list does not get viewed if they are not authorized to access it.

Other Smart View Options

You can still change the visibility of the smart views you created and add or remove it as a smart list through the Settings icon in the 3 dot menu.

You can also undo your filter changes before saving, duplicate and delete the list.

Share Smart Views

Aside from making your smart views visible to other team members, you can share a link to non-team members to view what you've created. This is possible both for private and public views you create. Users can only view and download the list from the link, they have no option to edit the view.

  • Click the 3 dot menu

  • Select Share (this changes to Manage Sharing after you've enabled sharing)

  • Copy the Public Link

You can also require a password to ensure that only those authorized can view the list. You can also turn off the sharing feature. Other team members cannot share the view you've created, only the creator can share the view.

Use Smart Lists for Emails

When a Smart List is created, it will be added to Engage > Contact Lists. When you click on a smart contact list, it will redirect to Attendee Analytics where you can edit the Smart View. Any changes in your smart view will also reflect on the smart list. If the smart list is deleted, it does not delete the smart view. To reinstate the smart list, the creator of the smart view must make the view a smart list again through the smart view settings.

When creating Engage Emails or Push Notification, the smart lists should appear in the recipient or audience list.
