If you are hosting an In-Person or a Hybrid event, your attendees might find it helpful to view a map of where the event will take place. Accelevents features a way for you to show this map on your Event Landing Page. Let's start!
The Venue Map
Add a Google Map To Event Landing Page Tabs
In your admin console, click Event Details
Select Venue in the Location dropdown
Enter the address in the field "Specify where it's held"
Once entered, the Google map with the pinned location will appear
Click the View Site button at the top of the page to see how it would appear to your attendees when they are on the Event Landing Page
It will show the pinned location and map at the bottom area of all the navigation tabs in the Event Landing Page; see below:
Add a Venue Image in the Venue Map Tab
You can also be more creative if you'd like to add an image or gif on the same page where the Google map is shown by adding a Venue Map tab on the Event Landing Page. You can add a picture of your venue or use it for promotional placement! Here's how:
In your admin console, click Event Website
In the Event Landing Page tab, find the Venue Map setting on the right side
Enable it by clicking the toggle on
Once enabled, scroll down, and you will see the Venue Map tab already enabled in the editable content area, along with information on the file size and format requirements.
Once ready with your file, click anywhere in the upload space or just drag and drop the file. Click the Save button to upload it.
The uploaded file will now show in the box. Click the View Site button at the top of the page to see how it would appear to your attendees on the Event Landing Page.
Here is the attendees' view when they click Venue Map on your Event Landing Page. They will see the image file you uploaded along with the map at the bottom:

The venue map you've added should also appear in the Attendee App. It should appear on the landing page right before you enter the event and in the event lobby.

On the landing page, you'll find a link to "Open location on Map" at the top and a Location section at the bottom. When clicked, this should open the mobile browser to redirect to the location in Google Maps.
