The Quiz Feature
This feature is intended to be used by universities and schools that wish to measure their students' knowledge about their courses through quizzes. When used with the Continuing Education challenge, event admins can track which attendees passed and send them the certification.
How Does It Work?
The quiz will be created through the survey feature wherein quiz mode will be selected, the questions and answers will be added, and the correct answers will be marked. A certificate will be designed and if an attendee passes the quiz, the certificate will be generated for them, which the event admin can download and send to the attendee. A Continuing Education challenge will be created to determine the passing score and to associate which certificate to issue to attendees who passed.
As this feature is still in beta, the Continuing Education data in the Gamification board may not be accurate. For now, if you need to determine the attendees raw score, you must download the report to see their answers and create filters and formulas to get their score. For now, our system can only determine whether they have passed or failed. And to know if they passed, a certificate is generated for them in the analytics.
Create a Quiz
Go to Engage > Surveys
Click Create Survey
Add the quiz's basic information
Ensure that the toggle to Restrict Access to Event Attendees is turned on as attendees can only be marked as passed if they are logged in when answering the quiz
Enable the Quiz Functionality by turning on the toggle
Add the Quiz Questions
The quiz functionality will only work with dropdown questions. Add them in the questions tab and select which of the options is the correct answer by clicking the check mark.
By default, the question will always be included when counting their score, but if their answer to the question shouldn't have any bearing on their score, turn on the toggle for Unscored.
Create the Certificate
After creating the quiz, create the certificate attendees will receive when they pass.
Create the Continuing Education Challenge
In the gamification section, create a Continuing Education Challenge. Ensure to select the certificate and in the action select Survey Submission. Add a passing score.

Notes:
Even though the challenge is not dependent on sessions, it will ask you to select a session when setting up your challenge. We will improve this feature.
The CE credits earned are not working yet, stay tuned for more updates.
How to Know if Attendees Passed the Quiz
In Analytics > Continuing Education, you will know that an attendee passed if you see the option to download the certificate.
