When registering for an event, filling out the registration questions all at once can be tedious especially when buying multiple tickets and each attendee information has to be filled out. The Progressive Registration Form feature can mitigate it by allowing registrants to answer vital questions first and complete the rest of the information at their convenience.

When you use this feature, registrants will see the fields you want them to fill out during registration and hide the rest that they can fill out later. Then, you can send them an email to complete the rest of the information by logging in to My Registrations where all registration fields will appear.

Before you begin make sure you've already done the following:

In Registration > Order Form open the setting of the field you want to hide during registration. In the Field Default Visibility settings, select "Progressive"

In the example below, we hid the Shipping Address field to all ticket types, so it's not showing on the registration page.

If the fields are skipped during registration, you can send an email to remind them to update the fields before the event starts.

You'll need to add the ${viewTicketMagicLink} merge tag to the email to automatically log them in to their account and redirect to the particular order in My Registrations where they can update their information.

When they receive the email and click the link or button, they need to click "Edit " in each ticket to update their information.

The updates done in My Registration will also reflect in the order in the admin console.
