Send emails to different lists including prospects

Yes! Using the Accelevents Engage Module, you can quickly and easily upload contacts, create registrant contact lists, and send email updates to your guests.

Important Notes:

  • This feature is only available for paid plans, excluding fundraising modules.

  • There is a limit of 6 email blasts per event

  • There is a limit of 5 contacts (email addresses) that can be added

  • If you need more email blasts or contacts, please contact our customer support to increase them.

  • Engage emails can still be sent or scheduled after the event ends.

  • Only drafts will be included in a duplicated event.

  • Recipients can unsubscribe from engage emails and you can download a list from the Unsubscribed Users button.

  • There is no report generated for how many emails are sent or opened.

Create Engage Emails

  • Go to Engage > Send Email

  • Click Create New

  • Select the audience you would like to send your email to. You will see all your contact lists, and you can also send emails to attendees based on their registrant status or ticket type.

  • Add the Email Subject and compose your email

Customize Engage Emails

To customize your email, simply drag page elements to the template. Click the added element to see the settings on the right menu. If it's a text element, you should also see a toolbar on top of it for more setting options. To delete an element, select it and click the trash icon.

Note: There is no option to attach a file to the email. However, you can add a button to your email that redirects to a link where they can download your file (e.g., Google Drive or Dropbox)

Add Dynamic Values

You can add dynamic values or merge tags to your email to make it more personalized. For example, you can place a dynamic value for the first name in an email template so that the greeting includes the recipient's name rather than a generic “Hello!” The system will replace these variables with contact information and event information present in our system.

Click View Dynamic Values to see what values you can add to the engage email.

Send Engage Emails

Click Save once you're done composing your email. Select whether to send the email Now or Send Later.

Send Now

If you're sending the email now, you should see a confirmation pop-up after you click Send Email. Click Confirm to send the email now.

Send Later

When you select Send Later, you should see the date and time fields. Once the information is filled out, click Schedule Email, and you should see a confirmation pop-up. Click Confirm to schedule the email.

Other Engage Email Options

Click the 3 dot menu in the list of emails. Depending on the email status, you'll have more options here.

  • Edit - you can only edit drafts and scheduled emails

  • Delete - you can only delete drafts and scheduled emails

  • Send Email - this opens the editor for draft and scheduled emails

  • Duplicate - you can only duplicate sent emails

Create Contact Lists (Static)

If you're sending emails to potential attendees, you can add them as contacts in Contact Lists, then choose to send to specific lists when you compose your email.

  • Go to Engage > Contact Lists

  • Click + Add List

  • Enter the List Name, and click the Add button below to add contacts one by one

  • Or upload a CSV file that includes the required information of those potential attendees. Once the upload is finished, click Add

Create Smart Contact Lists (Dynamic)

If you're sending emails to existing attendees, you can create a Smart List through Smart Views in Attendee Analytics. With Smart Views, you can create dynamic attendee lists based on their ticket type and registration status.

Send Emails to Contact Lists

In the To dropdown, select the Contact List to which you'd like to send an Engage email. A second dropdown field will appear if you've selected a static list, where you can select specific contacts from that list or everyone in that list.
