Adding closed captioning to your session allows attendees to read what the speakers are saying, which can benefit your hearing impaired audience. With Accelevents, you are able to integrate a 3rd party closed captioning platform through the iframe feature. Click here to learn more on adding closed captioning to your session.

However, if you don't have a closed captioning service added to your event, your attendees can still add closed captioning through their Chrome browser.

Enable Closed Captions through Chrome Settings

  • Open Chrome

  • Click the 3 dot menu on the upper right corner of the browser

  • Select Settings

  • Click Advanced

  • Select Accessibility

  • Enable Live Caption

Once this is enabled, any audio in English from the Chrome browser tab will be captured in the closed captioning.
