If you're an admin, please register for the event using a non-admin email to test the behavior. As an admin, you're able to enter the sessions even if they are future sessions.
To join sessions through your phone or tablet, you can now download the Accelevents Attendee App, which is available for iOS and Android users.
If the event is already open when you log in to the app, click the agenda button to see all the sessions. You'll see a Join Session button if the session has a streaming video or Enter Session button if there is no streaming when the session is live. Below you'll learn what to expect when joining a session.
Important Notes:
As an event admin, you can enter sessions through the app before the session starts.
The Join Session or Enter Session button for the session will show for all session types except for Networking.
Clicking the Enter Session button in the attendee app will not be mark attendees as checked in to the session. This action will not mark them as registered either.
For workshops, the video broadcast will not show. Attendees can only join the chat, Q&A, and polls. If the workshop is recorded, attendees can watch it on demand through the app. The button that will appear is "Enter Session" but the recording will show.
Locate Sessions in the Attendee App
If the event is already open, you will be redirected to the event's home page when you log in to the attendee app. From there click the Agenda to see the list of sessions with the basic session information including the session name, session type, schedule and location for in person sessions.
You'll also see indicators whether the session has ended, if it's live and if it's happening soon.
You may also see a button for "Add to My Schedule" or "Save a seat" and a bookmark option if it's a future session. When you save the session, the session will be added to "My Schedule" in the agenda.
See the Session Information
When you click a session, it will open a page where it will show more session information, such as the description, speakers, and associated tags and tracks. At the bottom you'll see a button. The button type would depend on the session schedule and session stream settings.

"Save a Seat" for Future Sessions
If it's a future session the "Save a seat" button will show if the session has a set capacity. When you save the session, the session will be added to "My Schedule" in the agenda. If this feature is not enabled, then you won't see any button at the bottom until the session opens.
Note: The button label is customizable so this may not be the exact label you see.
"Add to My Schedule" for Future Sessions
If there is no set capacity, the button will say "Add to My Schedule" and when you add it, the button will change to "Interested"
Notes:
As an admin, you won't see the save a seat / add to my schedule option on that page because you can enter sessions even before they open. So you will see the Join Session or Enter Session button.
Save a seat will appear for any type of session, including break, other and expo.
đŽ Live Session Buttons
"Join Session" Button for Live Sessions for Virtual and Hybrid Events
The "Join Session" button will appear when the session is live and it's a virtual or hybrid event. After you click the button, it will show you the live session's video broadcast.
Note: If it's a Networking session the button won't appear as networking can only be done through a browser, therefore they won't see the 2 tabs for details and activity.

"Enter Session" Button for Live Sessions without Streaming
If the event is in person, or the session does not have a stream provider, instead of seeing a "Join Session" button, you'll see an "Enter Session" button. When clicked, it will show the Details and Activity tabs. Since there is no stream provider, a video broadcast will not show in the session.
Notes:
If it's a Networking session the button won't appear, therefore they won't see the 2 tabs for details and activity.
When attendees clicks the Enter Session button, they will not be counted as checked in to the session.
âȘ Past Session Buttons
"View Recording" for Past Sessions With Recordings
To look for a past session in the app, go to the Agenda and go to the particular date to see the session or you can use the filter to show past sessions while viewing all dates.
The "View Recording" button will show for any session that has a recording.
"Enter Session" for Past Workshop Sessions With Recordings
If the workshop was recorded, you will see a "Enter Session" button instead of view recording, but you'll be able to watch the recording when you click it.
"Enter Session" for Past Sessions Without Recordings
If the session does not have a recording, you'll see the "Enter Session" button, same as when the session was live.
