The Standard editor allows you to edit and customize our pre-built page themes. Depending on the available settings, you can add your branding and customize some content, colors, and more. In this article, you'll learn how to edit the default landing page themes through the Standard editor.

  • Go to Event Design > Event Website

  • Click Edit Website under Standard

Standard Event Landing Page Customization

1. Themes

When you click Edit Website in Standard, you'll see the option to choose the theme. Under Select Theme, you can choose from three templates. Please select the one that works best for your event. The most popular one is Theme C.

2. Colors

Most of these color options are for the event landing page; some are for the event hub.

Note: If you have Dark Mode turned on from Theme Customization, it will not affect the colors in the Event Landing Page.

3. Configure Navigation

On the right side of the color options, you can enable or disable the tabs you want to show on your event landing page and rename them. The tabs available will vary depending on the type of event you're having. The function stays the same if you change the tab name.

4. Event URL

Below the color options, you'll see your event URL, where you can customize the last part (e.g., https://www.accelevents.com/e/myeventname). Just click the last part (blue text) to start editing.

5. Organizer Information

The toggle below the URL for the organizer's information hides or shows the More Events and Contact button at the bottom of the event page.

6. Registration Layout

Allows you to select the registration flow layout on the event landing page.

Embeddable Form

Shows a button for registrants to click and will display the registration form on a new page.

Shows the registration form on the right side of the event landing page.

Note: Only Free ticket types are available in the Embeddable Form.

7. Social Media Sharing

The toggle for social media sharing hides or shows all the social media icons in the About tab. If a page visitor clicks an icon, the visitor can share your event page to their social media account. This feature is only for social media sharing; you won't be able to add your organization's social media pages from here.

To ensure the latest information shows in the post, you can debug or scrape the URL's previous content through these links:

8. Count of People Attending

The toggle for the count of people attending hides or shows the total number of unique ticket buyers. This number is displayed above the event name on the event landing page.

9. Virtual Event Hub Disclaimer

Enabling the toggle for Show a Disclaimer Pop-Up before users join the Virtual Event Hub will open a content box where you can draft a waiver/disclaimer and a tick box if you would like to allow users to disagree before entering the virtual event.

10. Advanced Customization

Clicking the Advanced Customization tab opens an area where you can enter custom CSS to customize more interactive elements on your event landing page.

11. Event Landing Page Preview

You can scroll past the customization options to see your event landing page mock-up. Some areas are editable, like the logo & banner images, content in the About tab, the image in the venue map tab, tagline, enter event button, and registration button. The other content, such as the agenda, speakers, and exhibitors, can be edited in the corresponding tabs on the left-side navigation of your admin console.

The Banner Image dimensions are 2000 x 500 pixels. If you don't want to add an image, you can disable it. Instead, the background color will show.

The Logo Image dimensions are 700 x 350 pixels. We suggest using an image with a background color; when the background is transparent (.png), the transparent part will appear black in your confirmation email.

The Show Map toggle will also show the map of going to the event venue. This feature is available for in-person and hybrid events and will only be available through a desktop browser. It's not available yet in the mobile browser.
