Designing the Event Hub

The Event Hub tab allows you to customize the content and style of your virtual event hub, which has 5 categories:

  • Theme Customization

  • Content

  • Lobby

  • Navigation

  • Agenda & Sessions

Important Notes:

  • Some customizations may not be available on lower plans. Please get in touch with your account manager to upgrade your plan.

  • Some of the not applicable settings will not show for in-person events

Theme Customization Tab

This section allows you to select themes and customize the colors in the virtual event hub to match your branding.

Content Tab

Virtual Event Hub Content

The first part of the content tab allows you to add content to your virtual event hub, such as a welcome message & video and a banner image.

Virtual Event Hub View

The Welcome Video format is mp4 up to 5 GB. You will see a preview after uploading. That video will appear as a pop-up when attendees enter the virtual event hub and can be replayed by clicking the notification bell icon.

The Virtual Event Hub Banner Image dimensions are 2000 x 500 pixels.

Expo Design

The second part of the content tab allows you to add a banner and background image to the expo.

Expo View

The Expo Banner Image dimensions are 2000 x 500 pixels.

The Exhibitor Background Image dimensions are 700 x 350 pixels.


Lobby Tab

Lobby Tab Labels and Custom Tab

The first part of the menu allows you to show or hide the tabs found in the lobby, rename them, change the order, and add a custom tab.

Note: Editing the lobby tab labels and adding a custom lobby tab is not available for the Starter Plan

Gamification, Feed, Lobby Chat, Polls & Q&A

The second part allows you to enable or disable features found in the lobby, such as gamification, feed, lobby chat, polls, and Q&A.

Lobby View

Attendee Count and Online Attendees

The additional settings below the colors will allow you to show or hide the number of attendees who have entered the event and the total number of online attendees. These numbers are found in the chat area.

Lobby Live Stream

The last part of the lobby tab is for enabling the lobby live stream. The feature allows you to upload a video or live stream via RTMP through the lobby banner. This feature is available in Enterprise and White Label Plans.


Navigation Tab

Navigation Tab Labels and Custom Tab

The first part of the menu allows you to show or hide the tabs in the left-side navigation of the virtual event hub, rename them, change the order, and add a custom tab.

Note: Editing the navigation tab labels and adding a custom navigation tab is not available for the Starter Plan

Call to Action

The second part of this menu allows you to add a Call to Action Button. The Call To Action Button dimensions are 210 x 70 pixels (Ratio 3:1). When attendees click the button, they will be redirected to the URL you added.

Agenda & Sessions Tab

Agenda Labels

  • Bookmark Label - This field allows you to change the text on the bookmark button in the agenda that appears if the session is still in the future.

  • Tracks & Tags - This field allows you to change the text on the Tracks & Tags button in the agenda.

Session Type Labels

This section will allow you to change the session label names.

Additional Settings

  • Enable Simultaneous Session Scroll - if enabled, the sessions happening at the same date and time will be tiled, and the attendee would need to click the arrow to the right to browse through the sessions. The arrow is visible if more than three sessions are happening simultaneously.

Session Menu Labels

This section lets you edit the labels and show or hide the tabs inside a session.

The Live Sessions tab will appear if there are other live regular sessions while watching a live regular session.

The Up Next tab will appear if there is a next mainstage session while watching a live mainstage session.
