Send Clear Instructions on How to Join the Event

It's important to give clear instructions to ensure attendees know how to join your event. Not all events are the same, so we created several email templates you can use depending on your event format, check-in method, and whether you're using the attendee app. You can include the instructions in your order confirmation or send them later through reminder emails. You can copy the template, remove some snippets if it does not apply to your event and add your event information.

Emails for In-Person Events

Get the QR code, download the app, and check in with staff

Hello!

Please prepare your QR code upon arrival. The event staff will scan the code from your phone, or you can present a printed copy.

This is your QR Code [insert QR code merge tag ${QR_code}]. This is also attached as a PDF file in this email. You can also download the Accelevents Attendee App to check out the event and get your QR code.

To download and log in to the app:

1. Download the Accelevents Attendee App through the App Store or Google Play or scan the QR Code.

2. Enter your email address on the app's login page, then click Continue with Email.

3. Click Send Magic Link. Once you get the email, click the link to log in to the app. You can also click this email's Join or View Event button to log in without creating a password.

4. Once logged in, you should see your QR code on the event landing page

Upon arrival, please proceed to the check-in area and search for your information or scan your QR code through the Kiosk to check in.

1. Download the Accelevents Attendee App through the App Store or Google Play or scan the QR Code.

3. Click Send Magic Link. Once you get the email, click the link to log in to the app. You can also click this email's Join or View Event button to log in without creating a password.

4. Once logged in, you should see your QR code on the event landing

To check in through the kiosk with QR code:

  • Click Check in with QR Code from the touch screen

  • Hold up your QR code to face the camera. If needed, switch to the device's front camera. This will scan your code.

  • Click Check In. That's it! You're done checking in!

To check in through the kiosk by searching:

  • Click Check in with Search from the touchscreen

  • Enter your information (e.g., full name)

  • Select your profile

  • Click Check In. That's it! You're done checking in!

To join the event, click the Join or View Event button in this email to log in without entering a password. That's it!

The button is "magic" only once, so click it when the event is already open. If you click early, you'll see our event page, where you can start pre-registering for sessions.

If you accidentally clicked it, don't worry; you can click it again to send yourself a magic link email. Click the link or button from that new email to log in to the event.

You can also download the Accelevents Attendee App to join the event!

1. Download the Accelevents Attendee App through the App Store or Google Play or scan the QR Code.

2. Enter your email address on the app's login page, then click Continue with Email.

3. Click Send Magic Link. Once you get the email, click the link to log in to the app. You can also click this email's Join or View Event button to log in without creating a password.

4. Once logged in, click the Enter Event button.

  2. Enter your email address and password.

  3. If you don't have a password, click Send Me a Magic Link, then click the link from your inbox to join the event.

You can also download the Accelevents Attendee App to join the event!

2. Enter your email address on the app's login page, then click Continue with Email.

3. Click Send Magic Link. Once you get the email, click the link to log in to the app.

4. Once logged in, click the Enter Event button.

Please follow the steps below to enter the event:

  1. Go to the Event Page: [EVENT LANDING PAGE URL]

  2. Click Sign In

  3. Enter your email address and password

  4. If you don't have a password, click "Forgot Password?" to reset or create a password

  5. Follow the next prompts to create a password

  6. Once logged in, click the Enter Event button from the event page.
