The magic link is a great way to get attendees to log in to the event without entering a password. In addition to sending the magic link email from the Orders tab, you can also compose emails in Engage or Order Confirmation and add the magic link merge tag.

Magic Link in Your Engage Email

Open your engage email for editing, and click View Dynamic Values. This will show you all the merge tags you can use for the email.


You can use the merge tag $MagicLink as a hyperlink or the link inside a button, like so:

Magic Link in Your Order Confirmation Email / Reminder Email

Open the Advanced Email Template Builder when editing your order confirmation or reminder email. Click the Merge Tags button on top.

You can use the merge tag ${MagicLink} as a hyperlink or the link inside a button, like so:

Note: The Magic link expires after 7 days. If users attempt to click it after expiration, they will see the pop-up notification that the link has expired.
