I already have a ticket to the event, what happens next?
If you bought your ticket in advance, it might get confusing as to what you'll need to do on the day of the event. The first step is to go back to the page where you bought your ticket. If you've forgotten the page URL, you can check your email for the order confirmation letter and just click the "Visit Event Site" or "Enter the Event" button. Click here if you don't have a ticket yet.
If you click that button during the event and you have previously created a password, then you're all set! That button will take you to the virtual event hub.
How do I enter the event if I didn't click the button from the email?
If you have the link to the event, access that in your browser. When you access the event page, you can log in to your account through the top right corner "Login" button. You will need to enter the email address and the password you entered when you bought your ticket. Your login credentials are important as this is tied to your event ticket.
If you don't see the Login button, then that means you're already logged in. You should see your avatar and name at the top right corner.
Once logged in you can click the "Enter Event" button on the page and it will automatically take you to the virtual event hub.
You can also click the "Enter Event" button before logging in, it will also ask you to enter your credentials to log in before you can proceed to the virtual event hub.
Why is the Enter Event button missing?
You might wonder days before the event when you visit the event site, there is no "Enter Event" button yet. It normally appears 30 minutes before the event begins. But sometimes the event organizer opens the event earlier than that so the button might appear earlier. If the button is not there yet, then you're too early. You won't be able to enter the event yet, but you can bookmark sessions you want to watch.
What if I don't have a password yet?
If you didn't buy your own ticket or you bought it elsewhere, then that means you have not created a password yet. So when you visit the event page, it will ask you to verify your account when you click the "Enter Event" button. Verifying your account means you'll have to create your password. Click the option to send the email and follow the steps from there.
I'm already in the event, now what?
Once you enter the virtual event hub, the first thing you'll see in the lobby is a pop-up asking you to complete your profile. Just follow the prompts to complete setting up your event profile. You have the option to skip this step and fill in the details later.
Once you're done with that, explore what the event organizer has in store for you and familiarize yourself with the platform. Connect and meet with other attendees, join various sessions, participate in chats, enter exhibitor booths, visit the lounges, join the gamification challenges, and a lot more!
